This is a walking class of a different kind. If you love to walk, to be outside, and you want to improve your way of walking, then this is the right class for you. You will learn how to walk with more joy, awareness, and relaxation and at the same time you will develop your strength and health. This class will help you to get a better feeling of how walking can also be a meditation. We will be together for about an hour and a quarter and walk between 1.5 to 3 miles each day. Along our path we will have different kinds of exercises, for example: what walking pace feels comfortable; how easy it is to connect your pace with your breathing. We will also have times for just walking. The group will walk many of the Paso Robles walking paths. You will learn and practice step by step a walking meditation. At the end of the session we will have a special walk of 8 to 10 miles for those who want to participate. The class runs for four weeks and meets twice a week. We will have an optional longer 8- to 10-mile walk at the end of the session. ScheduleWe offer these classes at this time:
